Amy Winehouse’s father can now start work on a foundation in his tragic daughter’s name after winning back the company and domain name from an online opportunist.
Mitch Winehouse announced last month he wants to set up The Amy Winehouse Foundation to help young Brits struggling with drink and drug addictions.

Plans quickly hit a stumbling block after it emerged the name had already been registered as an official company, forcing Mitch to hand back donations given to help fund the clinic.

According to Britain’s The Sun, the man who allegedly bought the rights to the name dismissed criticism of his actions, insisting it was purely a business move.

However, Mitch has now claimed the rights to the company name and its online presence.

In a post on his page, he writes, “We have finally sorted the company and web site names. So now we can get cracking (started).”
