Amy Winehouse’s new boyfriend has won the approval of the singer’s parents after he was introduced to them at her dad Mitch’s Sunday night jazz club debut in London.
The Back To Black hitmaker has moved on from her troubled relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil and is now dating filmmaker Reg Traviss.

Winehouse, who was divorced from Fielder-Civil last July, introduced Traviss to her parents before her dad took to the stage at London’s Pizza on the Park jazz club on Sunday – and the sauve Londoner was an instant hit.

Mitch Winehouse, who is preparing to launch his own music career, says, “He’s a really nice chap. They’re very fond of each other, so we will have to see how it goes.”

While mom Janice tells Grazia magazine, “You just want to see your child happy and healthy and if Reg can help Amy stay in a place like that, then it’s a good thing.

“Amy, bless her, is a little girl in love. I think it’s what’s called early days, but it’s great for me to see Reg making her so happy. She seems to like everything about him.”
