Ronnie Wood based many of the songs on his recent solo album on his turbulent relationship with young cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
The Rolling Stones star hit headlines in 2008 when his affair with Ivanova, then 20, was exposed in the press – he subsequently dumped his wife of 24 years, Jo, and embarked on an 18-month romance with the young Russian.

The pair split after a rocky relationship which ended in Wood being cautioned by police in late 2009 following a public bust-up with his lover.

Wood, 63, now admits he poured his feelings about Ivanova into songs for his 2010 solo album, I Feel Like Playing.

He tells Britain’s Daily Mail, “A lot of the songs are about the relationship I was in with Katia. I was leaving home and walking out on my marriage with Jo. It was something I had to do. I don’t know what drove me to it, but I had to do it.”
