Wyclef Jean has reached out to his fans in Haiti after a 4.6-magnitude earthquake hit the nation on Wednesday.
The Fugees star has worked tirelessly with his Yele Haiti foundation to help survivors of the devastating 2010 quake and he is concerned after hearing about the latest tremor.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, “Checking on my people in Haiti after a 4.6 earthquake that just hit a while ago tweet me let me know you (sic) ok!”

There have been no reports of deaths or major damage from the earthquake, which was centered close to the capital Port-au-Prince, as WENN went to press. More than 316,000 died when a 7.0-magnitude tremor hit Haiti on 12 January, 2010.
